Default V6 vs. GT exhaust

Ok, I'm getting a new exhaust pretty soon here and I was wondering, would a MAC o/r h-pipe for the v6 sound any different than a MAC o/r h-pipe for the GT on a v6? If the GT pipes are any different as far as sound I was going to buy the $100 kit to convert my exhaust to a GT. Just curious if the 100 bucks is worth it.

pipes odnt change the sounds, the egine and crossover change the sound. Plus the power benifit form going to true duals or h-pipe is alot better then spliting the stock y into two pipes.

So you recommend just getting the pipes made for the v6?

I've got a NX kit lined up for after that. It's going to take me a few months to get all this though because I NEED new tires before it starts snowing because mine is a daily driver. I spin my tires taking off in the rain so I can only imagine how bad it'll be in the snow.
