I took mine up to the local muffler shop and told them to put a set of Flowmasters on it....2 chamber i think....sounds really good at low rpms to about 5G or so then it starts to get that raspy sound to it, all it is, straight pipes, no crossover, and 2 either 2 or 3 chamber mufflers.....sounds good might wanna try it!

well X pipe and no mufflers is illegal in my state. damn Illinois..... oh well, what i did for my 1999 V6 was i bought The Flowmaster Force II off of jegs.com for about $395. my dad and brother installed most of it, but couldent conect the y-pipe to the cat ( because we dont have a lift, we just backed the car up on ramps.) so we took the car down to our local midas, omg with no muffleres it sounded so cool and loud! but its illegal, and the floor board would heat up. anywayz they finished the instalation for free, and it sounds really nice when starting the car and when you hit the passing gear its amazing, sounds and looks just like an 8. i recomend it.

You can now buy off-road and catted x-pipes for the V6 in the xhaust section of the website.
