i have a 97 v6 convertible and im lookin for a flowmaster muffler...im pretty sure im supposed to be getting the 40 series, offset, but what size is it supposed to be...ive seen 2.25', 2.5'....simple question, but im not good wit this type of stuff...and i suppose after i buy this, i have to get it welded on, and then get a tailpipe...now for the best possible deep sound, what size tailpipe would you reccommend??:helpsmili

 

stock is 2.25" get that muffler and then the same size piping out. If you really want flowmaster that is.

 

yeah go with 2.25" ... i went with 2.5 and that was a mistake
