I'de say go turbo...you can tune it more than a supercharger and get more power out of it. A Ball-bearing turbo would be the best to get, something like a GT28r it's not too big and not too small and is good for upto 400hp. As for buying a used turbo or supercharger, I'de recommend staying away from the used turbo due to possible seals being burn out of them or in need to being rebuilt. Used superchargers are usually ok as long as the shaft move ment is minimal or none at all and the mileage on the unit itself isnt too high.

if i were you i would do what i did, just keep a good eye on 3.8mustangs.com and v6power.net and the for sale sections, there are allways used prochargers and Vortechs on there, find one for a good price and bam, there ya go

a 11psi procharger kit can put you right about 300whp, i would know i had one.

Yea the turbo is a bit more expensive but you can get more power out of it and in my opinion it's a bit more fun. Remeber with a supercharger...it takes power to turn the pulley to make power. With a turbo..it's aleady spooling and doesnt take much to make power, just a good tune.

yea but take it from me .. installing a turbo can be a pain in the ***** . .

if you want to go with the cheap and easy way, just go 11psi procharger.

yea you should beat just about any stock N/A Cobra.
