Exhaust Cutouts?! plz help

Default Exhaust Cutouts?! plz help

hey i want to get cutouts for my 2002 v6 (i want to do this as shown in the first pic.) first i found that they mustang has 4 cats. i want to remove the first two and put the cutouts there. will this cause a problem??????? will my check engine light now come on??? and if so what am i so spouse to do? i also was woundering what size should i use my exhaust is 2 1/4 i know but i do later want to do a whole exhaust and i herd that when getting a new exhaust v6ers usaly get 2 1/5in pipe so should i just get 2 1/5in. cutouts so i dont have to buy more later? i have put a pic of what i want to do and what my exhaust looks like now. plz plz help i really want to do this. and if any of u have cut outs do u like them?:helpsmili :helpsmili :helpsmili :helpsmili

I don't believe this would cause a problem but I really doubt any exhaust shop would do this for you. If you did, just use the same size pipes. I would just wait till you can get another midpipe and save yourself the time and money of fooling with the stock one.

Just buy a mid pipe with a dual cat back

i dont know why i shop wouldnt do it and i already know a shop that will. and i dont want to spend $95 on a mid pipe then $500 for dual cat back. i dont have $600 just for parts then the cost of instalation i just dont have that much money. when they cutouts coast like $45-$60 and install will be around $50-$75.

its gonna sound like crap fyi. my freind has that setup and well he never opens them it sounds awful and it runs slower unless he is spraying it.
