Default 335/30/18s on a 01 GT Vert???

Has anyone tried this? I've read Nitto's generally run small. I'm running Steeda sport springs w/top and bottom iso's installed, have the stock 2.25" catback but also have a MM/PHB. Nitto says they're roughly 13" wide and 26.01" tall on a 12" wide wheel. I'd be mounting them on 18x10" DD bullitts. Is this begging for trouble on my car?

335 is going to be a problem .. my tech said 275-305 is the widest you can go before you run into problems... and honestly its not worth - save your money for wide tires at the track - the differnerce inst that great on the street...

Well some people have trouble with 18/285 and some with 17/315 but then again some people dont. I guess its going to come down to the lip of your tire. If it hits in back, its either going to be your catback which you can bend or your ... (hmm i got a brainfart. not the shock, the other one...) either way. that can be removed because its pretty useless anyways.

cliff notes - if it rubs, it can be fixed so it does work.

no way will the 335's fit... the widest that a mustang can handle without and kind of modification is 315's... i know i have experimented with it...and yes soem tires brands are a bigger or smaller but even then 335's are no way going to fit without modding the suspension...

they will fit, all you'll need to do is roll the fenders....here's what 335's look like...(btw he has rolled fenders) Hoosier DOT (street leagal) slicks

i read this whole thread and all i got out of it was a whole bunch of smoke up my ***. why would you want 335's on a 10 inch street rim just to say you gotem.

get slicks if you need a big tire.

The only reason I'd asking about the 335s is that Nitto doesn't offer a 30 series sidewall in a 315 sized tire..only 35 series. I'm worried that'd be too much sidewall and rub worse than the 30 series that comes with the 335. Nittos historically run smaller so a 335/30 NT is probably smaller than a 315 BGF which many guys run on GTs w/no problem.
