I found 2 245/45/17 KDWS for cheap and just bought the 2 tires and put them on the front bc i was driving 500 miles back home and my fronts were really worn down.
For Christmas my parents said they will buy me some rear tires...my choice. I have the stock bullitt's and am not sure which tires to get. I heard that i can go to a 275/40/17...is that even worth doing? Should i just get 2 more kdws at 245/45/17? I dont want to get drag radials but i want to get a really good tire that will catch hard when im "street racing"...What do you all think?

 

KDW are very good. the KD is the best, they'll hook better than most street tires.... but don't expect any more than 20-25K out of them.

 

im looking at the bf goodrich g force t/a kdw 2, anyone have them? they dont have a 245/45/17 at tirerack, anyone know where to get some online? they do have a 255/40/17 and a 245/40/17, would one of those work? does anyone have a tire rack discount?

 

The 255's would work fine.

 

just some info... i just got back from tire discounters and tire kingdom. Both said the KDW2 are excellent tires. They actually just did a 2006 GT and a 2005 v6 with theseand the owners were very happy. I'm getting 295/35/18 rear and 265/35/18 front in the spring.

 

I love the way the tread looks on those.

 

The treadwear on the KDW2's are 300, this is very appealing for a DD car. The only downfall is with the tread design, it is a very noisy tire. But if your exhaust is loud enough, it should drown most of this out, :clap:
