I have 265/35/18's on DD 18x9's and 285/35/18's on a 18x10.I like how they look but I will go with a bigger rear next time.17's are alot cheaper, the perfect size on 17's would be 275/40/17 with a 315/35/17 on the rear.

Mostly looks and traction.I love the look of a wide *** tire on the rear.

18's I'd say 265/35/18 on the front and 295/35/18 on the rear.

hey guys...i was wondering the same question about what would be the best tire for a 18 inch rim...considering i didnt drop the stang at all. From what im reading 265/35/18 is the best...does it matter that i have a 97? should i still have no problem with clearance??

That is the set-up I have on my stang and all together brand new wheels and tires, mounted and balanced, it cost me $1142 and the rear wheels are deep dish.
