I would do 265/35 You can probably go bigger but it would look wrong.

I have 20x8.5 rims all the way around with 255 up front and 275 in the rear. I would think that you definitely get by with at least 275 in the rear considering your rims are 1/2" wider than mine. Just be careful up front as to avoid scrub. I get no scrub with mine so 265 should be ok up there.

thanks, I wasthining of going 275-40-18 on the rear and probalby 245-40-18 up front so that i don't have to worry about anything rubbing up front. I have plans to drop my car in teh future too and i don't want that to mess up the tires either.

Get at least 265 up from...anything less and the rim will pop out more than the tire and thats bad. Also if You can, get 35's they look so much better on rims...the 40's are too thick looking. just my .02

I agree with MineralGT,265/35/18's would look the best.Since your getting the same sizr rims all around might as well keep them the same tire size so you can rotate them to make your tires last longer.

all right i have just one more question. If i go with 275-35-18 all the way around will i have a problem with tire rub if i lower the car. I'm most likely going to use either BBK of Steeda lowering springs and a caster/canmer kit. If you have info that would be great

You should have no problem but I would still go 265's.

Yeah...275's wouldn't look right, 265 are the best for a 9 inch rim. If you really want bigger...trade 2 rims for 10's and get some 285 or 295's on the back

That looks pretty good...I know some tire buldge more than others...maybe you just need the right tires.

i have 285/35 on mine and they do bulge out a tiny bit. think of this as added protection incase you ever hit the curb and get the rash.

It all boils down to taste and what you like. I like mine to bulge out but some dont. Just keep in mind that 295 18 35 is an expensive tire and not many options are available like the 285.

If you can even find 295's in stock.Thats why I have 285's on the rear and still cost $230 apiece.

Default 275/35 18

I run 275/35 18 on the front (295/35 18 on 18x10 on the rear). No scrubbing on front. Tires are Falken from www.tiresavings.com. They were slow to ship (took 3 weeks), but price was right at $169 per tire plus about $13 per tire shipping. The Falkens have a 320 wear rating and I like them just fine. If I were buying today, I might go with 285's all around, and forego the lack of tire rotation (though the wider wheels on the back DO look hot).

Default 295/35 18

The 295/35 18 tires are Firestone Firehawks (320 treadwear rating, $189 each plus $13 shipping). Look very nice. Wish I could have found more choices of 315 series for rear, but choice fell to 100 treadwear rating drag radials for over $200 each or $450 Michelines and Pirellis.
