Default Question about AM Saleen Kit

http://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome...9904-stag.html

I'm thinking about getting this Saleen kit, with the Nitto tires. I love staggered set-ups, so I'm going with 18x9/18x10... but according to that link, the tires are only 275/285. Will it still be noticable that they are staggered? That doesn't seem like much of a difference from front to back.

Even if I ordered them with 265 up front, would it still look pretty good as far as staggered set-ups go? I'm ordering from AM, mainly because I like the free mounting and balancing, and nitrogen fill.

We don't live too far apart, I'd trade you wheels.

Also there is a noticeable difference, regardless of tire size I would assume as well. If you had 9's out back they don't stick out as far as the 10's. Where I take my saleens off thru winter in the stack you can easily pick out which are the 10's and which are 9's.

I appreciate the offer, but I can't trade... the Saleens are going on the Mach I bought. I'm keeping the bullitts on the red one. I've always liked the silver on black look... so I'm pretty definite on the chrome saleens.

I'd do black on black with my bullitts, but there are already 2 or 3 cars in town that have done that. My dad and I go to Ohio next week to pick up the car, but I've already got the mod list finished. lol

We're driving it. We leave thursday to get it, and hopefully the weather will be good.

Scratch the Saleen idea. I found a company called afs that makes Mach 1 replicas in 17x9/17x10.5 ...so I'm going with that setup as of now.

Then an mgw short throw with silver race handle. Can't wait to start the mods!

Sorry, don't mean to hi-jack this post, but I had a question regarding the same topic. I want to run 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the back...just curious if anyone knows if throwing on 265 for the front and 295 in the back is possible? Or would I need to stick to 275 in the front? Any help and feedback is appreciated.

I dont think a 275 will wrap around a 18" rim ?

Tires vary by manufactures best bet is to go to the tire brands website and check what is the recommended rim width.
