Default 17x8 Anthracite Bullitt Rim, tire size?

What is the recommended tire size for these 17x8 rims? http://www.americanmuscle.com/anthra...heel-17x8.html

On the site, it says 245/45-17's are the best fit, is that what i should go with?

You could go a little wider but I wouldn't go any narrower than 245. Not any wider than 275.

If you havent bought the rims yet id recomend these for the back tires.
http://www.americanmuscle.com/deepdish.html Deepdish 18x10 for the backs would give it a nice stance imo.

these are basically knock-offs of the Ford OEM wheels on 02-04 GT's
I run 245/45-17's on the front and 275/40-17's on the rear

Get the 17x9's for the back and run a larger tire out back.

Me on stock 17x8 wheels I run regular sized 245/45/17 up front, and 275/40/17 out back for more meat.

So what would you do with tire rotations with the rears being wider, just go side to side or not rotate them at all?

The tires/rims in my sig are the stock rims which are 17x8 on 275/40 tires. If your parents are buying the rims and tires and you want the wider rims, offer to pay the difference, see what they say. If I were you, I'd get the same size all the way around. For a v6, and a guy that sounds like he's on a limited budget, that's the way to go. But it won't look the best or perform the best.

You just don't rotate them. I still get many many many miles out of my tires. I just keep them properly inflated.
