Default Wheel and Tire ?'s

Ok so I am planning on swapping my wheels and tires out fairly soon. The ones I have now are just the stock. I was planning on 17x10.5 in the rear and 17x9 in the front...sound good? Also I was wanting to know what size/width of tire I should go with...any suggestions?
The mustang is a 99 V6, if that makes a diference

thats what i want.. im dying to get rid of my 18 inch saleens for some good 17's in those sizes.. go with those.. get fr500's, bullitt's, or 03 04 cobras. those are my favs in 17's. After u get those, the back calls for 315/35 17's. front im not sure,, wait for the rest of the guys. they will telll you. im pretty sure the fronts will be 275/ something.

You can run anything up front from as small as a 245 to a 255,265,or 275 being the largest. On the back you can run 285,295,305,315 even 335 would fit but really bulge. Best look is a 315/35/17 out back and for easy steering and cheaper tires and less chance of rubbing a 255/40/17 is a good choice up front.

I will be buying a new set of tires real soon for the front and will be going with 255's, right now I have my stock 245's on there and they are about shot!

But I am running 315's out back

Would it be a bad idea to put an 18'' for the rear and a 17'' for the front?
