Default chrome cleaner

I just picked up a set of chrome american racing rebels for super cheap but their extremely dirty and obviously not much care was taken for them which is why i got them so cheap..what is typically the best product that i can pick up at autozone or some other local parts store to restore the chrome before applying a nice polish to it?

Believe it or not the turtle wax chrome polish works very very well. Its super cheap and for chrome that is not pitted and is just dull it works great.
