find some nice ones and then offer a trade + Cash. They could use your rims/tires for winter or tires for burnouts ect. If you find someone interested you may be able to knock the cost down a little. I sold my stock rims and tires to a guy that wanted the rims for winter and the tires to just burn up

Demetri, Craigslist is your best friend. Just surf the site everyday. A good deal will eventually come.

yeah, thats what I've been doing. I found a really nice deal on some black ones for like $275 but I got to them a couple days too late :/

I'll keep my eye out though.

if I'm buying wheels with tires already on them, do I have to get them checked out/balanced somewhere or can i just mount them on and roll out?

terrible. Why don't you just save up some money..like..1200 or so, buy a set from AM, get tires mounted on them from AM as well

I paid a total of 1100 something for my Fr500's with Tires from AM last year.

What about these ones?

I dont like them because they arent really shiny or anything, but after I looked at them I thought it might look good if I painted them black... thoughts?

Tires don't look very good.. Can't really tell though.

Depending on what kind of shape they're in I might tell him $150 and see what happens. I had the same rims on my old Sixxer that you do now and my first set of rims after the stockers were those GT wheels, so this is a familiar road.. lol

Yeah, thats exactly what I was thinking as far as talking him down to $150. I think they would look alot better if I painted them black (although I've never painted wheels), and maybe I could get my money back on my current wheels/tires and maybe a little more considering the tires are new.
