a guy off our local automotive-enthusiasts site is selling a set of cobra wheels that are all 17x9 with 275/45/17 all around, the guy said that the back 2 and drag radials and need to be replaced pretty soon, he wants wants $500 for them, should i buy them?

 

What kind of wheels do you have now?

Steeda97 has chrome 03 cobras and they're pretty boring looking. Hahaha

I always ask myself two simple questions...

1) Do I want them?
2) Is the price good enough/worth it?


And knock him down. I bed you can easliy get hime to take $50 off if you want them.

 

Well you gotta add the cost of 2 tires mounted and balanced to the $500. Plus the coast of powder coating them black (unless of course you are doing that on your own). Depends on the tires you get, but you may just be better off getting a new set of Black cobras with new tires from AM. Wouldn't be paying too much more...

 

yea, i was plannin on offerin $450 when i got the money together..

btw, does anyone want to buy a set of nitto invos barely used?

 

i think thats alot for it. i bought some 18in black saleens with tires for 350, so i say try to get it to 400 and if not just keep on looking and youll end up finding a better deal
