With a $200 dollar limit you can still get a pretty good tire. Sumitomo HTR Z III, which is what and running right now. I have close to 10 autocross events on them and they have performed very well. You can use Kumho Ecsta MX, I don't have any experience with them but I'd bet they are a very decent performer. Alot of tires fall in that categorey. You can get BFG KDW IIs but they are going to be a little more expensive in most places, I've heard its a good tire though.

So you want a street tire or a drag radial? Cause you can get nitto drags for fairly cheap and they will get around 15k miles on them if you don't smoke them all the time other then when heating them at the track. While NItto's don't hook the best out of all the drag radials they by far get the best miles. For a daily driver drag radial Nitto's are where its at. I daily drove for almost 3 years on nittos. In fact the streets tires on my stock rims I have now are the first pair of street tires I have ever bought for the back that were not drag radials.

if you don't race much then yeah don't bother with drag radials.
