Default new here! please help

First off...hello all. I just bought my first mustang GT (2006 13,000 miles) about 2 weeks ago. Its a beautiful car to say the least......I would like to change the rims on this puppy. I like the idea of the chrome DD Bullitt rims ( 18 x 10 ) in back and DD Bullitt in front ( 18 x 9)are these sizes possible? Also if anyone live in chicagoland area are there any rim shops you could recommend me? I like americanmuscle but they are all out of the bullittthanks for any help guys!

Default Wheels for Mustang

Hey Whitesox06,

Congratulations on the Stang, I also have a '06 and I recently changed
to 18X9 Bullitt from American Muscle. You can blame me for them being
out of stock.

The 18X9 and 18X10 will work great on your car and look nice also. I'm
not a fan of 20s on Mustangs, I think it's too much tire and wheel. Being
that you live in the Windy City and me being a former resident I remember
the potholes, snow and salt. The potholes can ruin your wheels and the salt will dissolve chrome like ice cream on a hot summer day. Will you drive your car in the winter? You might want to buy yourself a beater for the winter. A far as wheels are concerned it's your car buy what you like. There are so many wheels out today the choices are endless. Shop around and don't rush yourself. I'm very happy with my Anthracite Bullitt wheels
from American Muscle. Check out www.cruizinconcepts.com they have
some great deals on wheels especially Foose. Also check out KMC wheels
they have a wheel out that looks similar to the Bullitt but they take it
up a notch.

Hope that helps.

Default Wheel suggestion

Hey Sox Fan,

Go to KMC wheels and check out the "Jacks & Five" wheel, it comes in chrome and black. It's a good looking wheels.

Remember be original but don't over do it.

p.s. What color is your car?

Where at in chicagoland? I'm near barrington in crystal lake. I got my wheels from Ford Racing (Motorsport) I work at a dealer and got a great price on them, I still dont have pictures yet but the are the GT500 wheels only gloss black with a machined lip. They hold a good size tire for the rear 285/40/18. I got those cuz my car is white and the black looks really good.
