Default Shimmy Shimmy Shakes

I got the new rims and tires on with hub centering rings in place and they look good. But now she shimmies at about 55mph. It smooths out at +60. I took it to the dealer to get the TPMS reset (which they gouged me on $53) and they told me not to worry about it until I have at least 1000 miles on them. That doesn't sound right to me but alot has changed in 25years. Any thoughts?

You could try getting them re-balanced. Maybe the place you ordered them from screwed it up. Just a thought.

I think ur right but I think I'm gonna call the place I got them from and see what they will do about it. I'm already out enough.

That's probably what I would do. Maybe they would reinburse you for getting them rebalanced somewhere local. Probably cheaper and much less hassel than sending them back to rebalance. Good luck!

Update:
I called discount tire and they are going to reimburse me for having the wheels rebalanced, so maybe I can actually get her up to speed without shaking my brains out.
