Hi Everyone! Just bought a 2003 Mustange Coupe 2 weeks ago and I need help. I already put a spoiler on, bullit racing pedals, and am in the process of putting in a K & N cold air intake.

My tires are are stock size of 225/55R16 and I can buy (dirt cheap) 235/55/17 wheels off a 2005 Mustang. Will this work and will I encounter any problems with changing wheels other than stock sizes?

No, 2005+ rims do not fit on 94-04 Mustangs. The wheel backspacing and Offsets are different. I believe you can purchase a conversion kit that allows them to work, but I dont know how much it costs...

In laymans terms, the New mustangs wheels are spaced like FWD wheels.
You may be able to get 1" spacers to make them work, but that would get expensive.

 

I dunno, my friend has a 96 convertible and he's got 05 wheels on it. He bought it like that, so i dunno how he did it. The car is a piece of **** so i doubt anyone put anything that costly into the wheels.
