Default 89 LX

I have a 89 LX that i lowered with BBK springs, caster/camber plates, STEEDA X-2 balljoints, and a bump steer kit. I am looking to find the correct size i need without rubbing. I just got the car done, it is sitting on 245/50/16's on Pony 5 stars. They are way to big.. Can anyone help?

you are rubbing with 245's? something else is wrong. well, a 50 series sidewall is quite high...maybe thats the issue.

Yeah but 50 isnt too much higher than a 245/45 which doesnt rub. Did you cut the springs anymore to lower it that little bit more?

yeah 45's not much smaller...but I was also thinking he lowered it or something...so then possibly the 45/50 series sidewall difference could matter if its low low.

Another thing to look at is with the stock 16"ers the stock size tire is a 225/55 maybe you are looking too wide with the 245 wide tire. might look at a 235/50 or a 225/55 *stock width and height*?!
