i was going to get 17x8 black bullitt wheels for my mustang and then get 18x9 for the back. but American muscles web sight says you can olny have 17s in the back and not the front of the car http://www.americanmuscle.com/simple...de-wheels.html do any of you guys have 17s on the front of your car.

I did'nt see where it said that but if it did it is wrong.You can do that.

ok i thought you could but i dident want to buy them and find out it wouldn't work.it says it the line under with 10.5 Note: Available in the 17” rim, and can only be used on the rear of the Mustang. See below for the reason why! thanks for the help lance.

that just means you cant use a 17x10.5 in the front...its the 10.5(width) part that is the reason, not the 17(diameter)

great combo...thats what I run. looks badass and is fairly cheap.

and to further the topic...

on the 17x9's use 275/40/17 tires

on the 17x10.5's use 315/35/17 tires.

cheapest tire to get in those sizes would be the Sumitomo HTR-Z

its not laser red its the other one.im thinking about doing 18s in the back 17s in the front.

I think black FR500s would look better on a red car rather than Bullitts...dunno, I only think bullitts look good on black/silver/gray

But here's a red mustang with black bullitts



And...if you get 18's in the rear you'll be paying a ****-ton for tires...
