Question about DRs
So my buddy at the track has a pair of Nitto D/Rs ..they will fit the rims I am buying, and I am thinking about buying the D/Rs...
I have a question though..since I've got a v6..will I need to replace my gears?
(I already plan on a 4:10 gear swap)
But I was wondering if I would screw myself if I put them on before I did the swap...

i dont think you will have any traction problems. my nittos stick better on the street then they do at the track.
what size are you getting? my 275/40 stuck pretty good. my 315/35's arent doing any better.
if money is that tight then get the DR's at a good price. i think it would be better for you to go with a street radial
i dont understand your question so my comment doesnt help you at all. how would the DR's screw you if you dont do a gear swap. i dont understand

Well my buddy was talking about how he put on his DRs and he messed up his rear end somehow.. so i'm not sure.. and hes selling both of them to me for a good price (50 bucks) forget what size the tire is... but the rims i'm getting are 18x9 and 18x10 ..tires on them already, so i've got a set of rear winter tires, and then i can use the DRs for summer or something..
