Default 18x9 vs. 18x10 rims...

after researching and asking question on here, i've decided to get these 18x10 rims, http://mustangtuning.com/deepdish2.html , but i was wondering if getting them for both the front & rear of the car would be okay? i see A LOT of people on this site run 18x9 on the front and 18x10 in the back...just wondering the reasoning behind this?

i drive a screaming yellow stang and i have a feeling that the black version of the rims i linked above may look killer with my tinted windows & blacked out lights...i can't seem 2 find any pictures with yellow stangs and those black rims or these FR500 rims, http://mustangtuning.com/dediblfrwh1.html, however, could anyone plz link me up? i wanna see how bad *** the black wheels could look

Also, would 285/35/18 tires be sufficient for both the front & rear or should i just get smaller tires (255/265) for the front, thx 4 ur answers i appreciate ur knowledge

peace

1.You don't want 18x10's on the front. Will rub like crazy and look very bad.
2.285's are good for the 18x10's on the rear but way to big for 18x9's on the front. You want 265's for the front.

yes lance speaks the truth!

i have 18x9 in the front with 275's and they rub only when i turn it all the way left!

so get 18x9's in front with 265's and 18x10's in the rear with 285-315

18x9 for the front and 18x10 for the rear...and what lance says for tire sizes are pretty good....i personally dont like the look of 285 on a 10" rear...295 or 315 is where its at.haha
