Default wheel backspacing...?

what exactly is wheel backspacing? i'm wanting 2 buy some 20" bullit deep dish rims for my stang but i noticed that there are several different wheel backspacing measurements to choose from...they range from 5.54" to 6.25"... which ones should i go with? will the backspacing make a difference in whether the rims will fit a specific tire or anything? thx 4 ur answers

peace

the 5.54 is the correct backspacing for your car. The 05+ uses the 6.24 backspacing.
