I have a set of 17x8.5 Y2K Cobra R wheels. I was hoping to run the Nitto NT-555 tires (245/45/ZR17 on the front and 275/40/ZR17 on the rear). My car is a 1990 GT conv. Can anyone tell me if this is going to be possible without needing major alterations to the wheel well area? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys

 

Those tires will fit just fine and look nice. But you might wanna go 255/45/17 instead of the 245 as it will fit better.

 

I heard the 1990 wheel well was shallower than the 91-93 and the 255 might cause a problem is why I was thinking 245 instead
