Default Clang in Rear

Ok, now that maybe you have had a good laugh regarding the title of the thread, all last season I had a strange clang coming from the rear end when backing up. It does it once and once only on a back-up, but sometimes you can notice it when driving. Hit the pedal a bit....clang....lift up on the pedal....clang again. It is not real loud, but noticeable.

Is sounds a bit like something shifting in the trunk, but it is empty. Though, I need to check the spare tire area....never know, something could be loose there.

I am pretty sure it is not the pumpkin and sounds like it is comming from the right, rear corner. Any ideas? I have looked under the car and had a friend look too. We could not see anything.

Car is in storage but will be coming out soon. I would like to get it fixed right away.

The suspension is modified a bit (though I have added the FRPP perf. handling package) and have UPR uppers and lowers. I wonder if one of those has gotten loose.

If it sounds hollow, that would be my first thought too... Check all of the hangers and make sure that they're all in good shape.

On a side not, Blake and Lance as the first two people posting in a thread... Brings me back. I miss the old MB crew.

It is definatley not the exhaust. I had the problem before and after my engine swap and the entire exhaust was swapped too.

Maybe worn bushings? Bad U-joints? Bad posi? If it's not the exhaust, there's not much else it can be.
