Default Is a strut tower brace worth it??

I believe I'm going to start trying to make the stang handle better.. Looked up a lot of threads to see if I could find out if the tower brace was worth it... Anyone dislike it??

I've heard that there not worth much, and I've heard people claim all kinds of advantages. Just this past weekend at the autocross a guy had put on a new STB and said that the car understeered a lot less, how it understeered less is beyond me but hey, he was happy with it. I will probably never get one because I don't want to have to worry about taking it off everytime I want to work on the engine, and plus the JLT doesn't fit well under most.

What year is your car? Based on the pic in your signature looks like you have a 05-09? If so I wouldn't even bother with one. The STB's for those years doesn't look like it does much.

They are a gimmick if you ask me. Those things were made back when the mustangs strut towers sucked and they would move a lot when cornering hard. These cars have come a long way since then and they do not need them. I think they are one of the biggest wastes of money you can spend right up there with a throttle body spacer. That's just my opinion.

Your way better off getting better shocks/struts and different springs. If your looking for a cheap mod to make it handle better then get a set of lower control arms. They really make the car handle better and also hook up better for launching too.

I'm getting BMR LCA's installed today. I haven't driven the car yet... hell, it is still at the shop as I'm typing this. I can tell you that they are awesome quality and they are very well made. I picked mine up from Brenspeed for $134.95.
