Default Strut tower brace?

Hi, I am looking to put a strut tower brace on my 99GT. It has a C&L inlet pipe and a C&L plenum. Does anyone know what brand(s) will clear this combination? I ran a search and it looks like a lot of guys have had problems with this and wound up cutting, bending and welding.

inmho, a STB is pretty much show n' go today, it serves no real purpose in front end rigidity...... do you have subframe connectors on the car? if not you should, as they are by leeps n' bounds better at tightning up the car then a STB..........

Agreed, its a waste of money. Spend your hard earned cash else where.

I don't know if a factory brace will clear but I was told by several dealers that they were no longer available. On a hunch I called Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, MI.(I'm in Texas) Not only did they have it, they gave me a brake on the price. I have called their parts dept. about several other items and they have been great to work with.
