Question In need of Shocks and struts...

Well I've put this off long enough (a little over a year) and I'm finally going to order some shocks and struts. My car is lowered with H&R super sports. I'm looking for something that would be good for street use. Now i know supersports and ride comfort don't really belong in the same sentence, but what would my best option be? Bilstiens are a tad too expensive so I'm looking for other options.

Bilstiens will likely outlast the others, and IMO are great for a DD stang. I really like my Bils.

KYB's are cheap and work great for me. I like my AGX ones they are adjustable so i change them as needed.

I got Tokico Illuminas to go with my Super sports. I think Tokico blues or HP are basically the same but with out the adjustabily. And seriously, after SFC's my car rides smoother and less harsh than stock.

so maybe something like tokico blues here? If the Illumina's are that much better I'd probably go with them, but i won't be adjusting them once they are set. Would that take away the purpose of buying the illumina's or are they just better quality?

I was going to go with the "Tokico High Performance" shocks and struts when I was going to do my suspension. They ran $240 for the struts and $150 for the shocks

If your not going to adjust the illuminas then it would be pointless to get them. I change the settings for long drives home, autocross, spirited drives around town. The Tokico blues (High performance?) would be better and cheaper.

I agree if your not going to actully change them for what your doing its not worth the extra cost. I change mine aswell for when i go long trips i make them softer, around town i make them a bit stiffer for fun cruising i make them very stiff, and the at the track i make the front full loose and back fairly stiff. So unless your going ot do that with them dont bother as its not worth the money.
