Default Spring ???

Well I've bought a set of H&R sport springs and MM caster/camber plates. There is a couple of things I've got questions about. 1st when pulling the front springs on an 03 do the struts and srings come out together or will the springs come out by themselves. 2nd I'm going to have to run the factory struts and shocks for a little while. How long will they last on a daily driver? It'll probably be a couple of months before I get struts and shocks. The car has 30,000 miles on it now, so they should still be in decent shape. Thanks..

The struts and springs are separate pieces. As for keeping the stock pieces, when I bought my car, it apparently had Eibach springs which are a similar drop. That was when my car had 17k miles in which I'm on 35k miles now. So the moral of the story is they'll work but you won't get the full benefit of the springs until you get struts/shocks to match.

Yea, I thought they would last a little while before giving up.
