This oem replacement fuel filler pipe seal is for your 1999-2004 Mustang and seals the connection where the filler pipe goes into the fuel tank. If your car leaks fuel anytime you put a half tank or more of fuel in it, this very well could be the culprit.

For installation, you'll want to lower your fuel tank and separate the tank from the fuel filler hose. Remove the original fuel filler pipe seal, clean the area where the new seal will go, and then put your new seal into place. Return your tank to its correct location, and your installation is finished in about an hour.
