The track would be a shitty place for meet because not everyone will want to drag race, and that place will be packed with slow 15sec. honads this time of year. You will be lucky to get 4-5 runs in on a wed or friday night test and tune.

 

Wherever you guys want to meet is fine by me.

I usually think of snow birds as old people who go every year. The norm for me is to stay in the frigid north but the wifes parents have a time share at a resort near orlando and they said we could come along for free and they would even pay for food

autox doesnt have traffic... and i would kick your ***... just becuase i got into one accident doesnt mean i cant drive lol i can drive my dads 68 fastback without power steering and if u tried that u would epically fail.

 

woh buddy no you fail. you don't know nothing bout me lol. I have no prob driving my dads 650hp chevelle with no ps and my cousins 442 w30 w/ no prob. My dad restores muscle cars btw. Aslo on another not i have owned 6 cars 1bike and the stang is far from the fastest i have owned. I just have had to sacrifice a lot in selling my toys to grow up and move out, go to school, and start my life with my gf.

Horsepower doesn't mean you win when it comes to road racing. Cars with little hp beat faster cars all the time.

 

its not like he is driving a WRX tho. he has the same chasis i do and suspension

 

He does have wider tires which helps, and of course most of it has to do with the driver mod. Trust me if you have never road raced or auto-x you do not know what your getting yourself into here. After taking two classes and have some lessons from a friend who is a race car driver in the Koni challenge and other races. I can tell you that its very different then what your used to. I have a decent amount of seat time in shifter carts (my friends practice toy to hone his skills) and I can't touch his times in the same cart. I am a solid 4 secs back to his 35 sec lap times at this one ocala track. So trust me if he has some skill you will get owned. I still like drag racing more because its much cheaper for me to do, but that stuff is really fun.
