I knew some one would say this. I was on interstate 35 the mid eastern part of Ohio. It is very flat and straight here. I was with my friend, I was going 65MPH. I slam the gas it drops down to second for just about 2 seconds. (I have my tune set this way so when I'm on the highway and floor it, it will get a good jump.) I go to 84 mph and it swtiches to 3rd gear. The spedometer went all the way 132 MPH at 6100RPM and then swtiched to fourth. I'm not lying, I'm not full of my self or my car. This is where my car shifts with my modifications. You can either believe me or take it up your ***, I dont care.

I'm glad your not spending money on performance mods on that POS, because it would be pointless. Your car has somethign around 190 hp...rofl that's civic territory. If you read my previous post, you would have already read me saying that "I don't want to race my car by any means, why, because I want to keep it in good shape and it probablly wouldn't really preform well with all the other souped-up models"

Springs, yes you're right I can only assume I was going into 4th gear. Auto's do only have four gears, so I had to be going into 4th geear, it only makes sense. I'm not saying my car will shift at 132mph everytime, but it did at that time. It's not like I'm pulling something out of my ***, lol. My car DOES shift at 47mph, 84mph, and est. 132mph, this ALL at WOT. It used to do 46, 79, and 123mph BEFORE my tune. Cmon, you guys REALLY think im BSing this????

And not trying to start anything more, but why make fun of a V6, so what if it only has 190HP. It's still a Mustang!! CMON BOYS!

here in virginia the legislation got taken out for traffic lights to take pics of cars running red lights. Some fat beach hired a lawer to sue the state for invading her privacy. and this ment no more cameras in virginia. The speed boxes had cameras but they cant use them no more.

One positive thing about this crappy Commonwealth state.

yeah.. a lot of it is ego, ego ego ego, someones is always "faster, better, undefeatable," and everytime someone else "challenges" it, it turns into something personal I guess-- I don't know some people are like that. We had a Chrystler Seabring LXI that could hit 120 easy, and I bet you the six-gun could beat that time.

It's been said [stang00] that the 3.23 gears on the automatic had more top speed than acceleration (compared to the 3.73).. so it would make sense that the V6 could reach that high level of speed at such a low RPM in 4th gear.

I had taken O/D off to get the 2nd and 3rd gear pulls (but when you have O/D off the car won't shift to 4th) so I had to put overdrive back on to get it to shift to 4th, and thats when it hit the speed-limiter at 3,300ish RPM.

Its not that hard for any V6 to get there that way ^^

 

not exactly wut i told him online but it is possily for him to get that high of a speed at those rpm's
