thats just my 2 cents... everyone cant agree...
Dude pay attention. He isn't saying anything about getting good tips for bad service. He is talking about getting bad tips for excelent service. If I know I did an awesome job, I would expect an awesome tip. I would know if I did not do a good job and would not expect a good tip. And you are military so obviously you are gonna be a horny bastard and tip the women more. That is the most rediculous thing I have heard of. You probably think you are gonna get her number just like all the pathetic military and white trash guys that go to Hooters.

And also this is for Danny and not the retard..you say they were white trash but the bill was $100? I would think white trash would be at Barnhills paying $9 and leaving a dollar tip?

I used to work at the Hilton and we would have nights we had rooms for $34 on the freakin' beach. Talk about white trash coming out of the wood works. "C'mon Ma, we's gonna stay at that there Hilton on the beach tonight...yee haww"

And WHAT exactly do you do? You are like oh I am special because I am in the Military...put me up on a pedistool. But what is it that you do? Me living in military central, I see all the dweebs walking around in the mall with their other 10 buddies looking exactly alike with their tight tucked shirts that are 2 sizes to small and there pants that are hiked up, their blue tooth in their ear, backpacks, and popped collars and basically that is their day. Then they hit the club up at night with their pack of losers and flock to the dance floor hitting on everything in their with ****. On the other hand..I know some guys work their *** off and respect their military career and respect women and live respectible lives. So what makes you so much better than DannyB who is a good kid that works hard at what HE does?

In HS, I played the tuba in the marching band and never owned a car. I married the Homecoming Queen. I used to see guys driving around in their cool cars...I had none. They were in debt up to their butts. I went to college and then got a comission in the US Navy. Today, those same guys would not be good enough to work for me - LOL

When I was in the military, we had a "name" for "some" of the enlisted guys..."TED". It stands for Typical Enlisted Dude. Those were the guys from SD who wore big belt buckles and got laid in Mexicao or in the PI for the first time, fell in love, and then spent all their money trying to move then to the US.

There are some really great guys in the service, and there are some classic nerds. It is no different then real life. Some guys in the service are in very dangerous, adventurous jobs and others are not, yet they all collect the same check.

I already know what I want in life. I don't need to succumb to going to FAWKIN HOOTERS to pick up girls. Honestly. oh , and dude, i dont care HOW high you rank or how many girls you have, your spelling is PATHETIC. and don't give me "oh youre being ****" most of your mistakes are the kind made by those who just plain don't know how to spell. YOU are the white trash the comes into my resturant and can't apreciate good service.

And to answer u mahnotinknee, white trash can sure as heck run up their bill as high as they'd like, but it's the TIP that they can never seem ot afford..

That's the exact reason that I'm not going to reenlist. And I totally agree about being able to take a bunch of "bus boys" and putting them in the military. I work in one of the hardest (mentally) military jobs (I rewire jets), and some of the people in my shop are the stupidest people I've ever met. As for tipping people, I always tip for service, not whether they're hot or not.

I'm not bad mouthing the military by any means. I fully respect anyone who decides, of their own free will, to serve our country . All I'm saying is that they're the same people as civilians, no better or worse.

it is a SOCIAL standard to tip atleast 15%
i don't care what the waiter thinks, you should think about what others think and you should be thinking about yourself. How would you like to be stifted? Imagine your girlfriend being there, always gotta tip well. It is the socially accepted standard, others look down on people who don't tip. You can't say they don't because i know everyone on here would.

Be right over. So basically you don't work harder than Danny if you are a cop on base. You stand at the little gate and check ID's when people come in? I have NEVER seen a hard working cop on ANY of the bases I have EVER been on. But good for you. I think you need to finish the conversation with more people than just me though. I think you pissed a lot of people in the forum off with your sexist comments.

On a side note..I would rather pick up a cute chick from TGI Friday rather than a skank from Hooters that has to dress in nothing to get attention and a better tip. Hooters is right under stripper. TRASHY!! But I guess that is what you are into. Keep on checking those ID's. I'm done.

Why shouldn't they?!?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! Waiters bust their *** to get a S****y base pay and they shouldn't expect good tips for good service?!?! Give me a break. Let's see you wait on 10 tables at a time and get nothing for it. Would you not expect a tip? Come on now....be real.
As far as tipping 30%+? We do it all the time. We would always go to this little bar and get 30 dollar bills and tip the chick $20. They knew us as the O'Rielly boys and gave us the best service when we went in there becuase of the way we tipped. You always get hooked up the next time when you tip well, cause they remember you.
And if chicks flirt with you to get good tips?!?!? They are pretty much strippers, cause they do the same thing. They should probably go make some real money at a booty club.

oh yeah... you definitly know what being an MP is all about... wow you are awesome. how do you know so much about the military? its amazing. -_-

i guess you get beat up on a regular basis by the POGS out in Pensacola... sadly theres only about 30-60 Marines there... the rest is Navy. i definitly think you should write a book on the military man.... you know it ALL. -_-

as i told you before... i dont really care if people get "pissed" or talk trash... this is the internet... it meens nothing. i was simply giving my opinion. as far as finishing the conversation... i dont got time to argue over my opinion... afterall... i gotta get back to "checking ID's at the gate" right?

Yeah i was in the AF, go ahead and take yer pop shots, AIR power is everything these days(had to take a jab), but I was stationed in japan for 2 years. During that time my side job was an SP (same as MP, different branch, different name) i spent about a week every month doing MP work during exercises and deployments of the normal SP's. There are more times than i care to remember laying in a ditch during Mop level 4 Alarm Black in full webgear and chem warfare gear in 100+ degree weather for 6-7 hours at a time. But that happens mostly overseas, stateside bases dont play to that level. Yeah, That sucked. But when we were NOT in an exercize and i was just filling in during deployments, the job mainly consisted of making rounds, playing spades, and playing pranks on eachother. Other than a couple times where some drunk japanese guy drove through the gate not realizing where he was, not a whole lot happened.

Congrats on being in the marines! More people should take your lead and example, but dont sit there and blow it out to be the worlds hardest job. Its not like yer bustin down doors and shooting terrorists or anything, yer doing perimiter checks and ECP and maybe the occasional domestic violence responce.

USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well bro... at the same time i never said that i was better then others or whatever... i was just saying that my job is harder... and i dont stand at the gate and check ID's. i am on the SRT unit for MP's. i didnt want to explain it because mostly no one in here will know what that is... but i am sure you do. but your right slappy, i shouldve kept my opinions to myself. sorry by what i said Danny and to anyone else i offended.
