When someone says they will do something and then they go back on their word. What the hell ever happened to "A mans word is his bond"?

That **** went out the door years ago man. It's hard to ever trust someones word nowadays. I was brought up to were your word is everything regardless of situation and you can never go back on it. It's a personal pride thing I guess.

 

It depends on the circumstances. If you`re really relying on someone and they say they`ll help but then do a U turn, unless they`re in an emergency or they have a REAL reason to **** you off then they`re just being arseholes.
But generally people let you down anyway. hence the saying "if you want something done, do it yourself". Its the way things are nowadays. Even your pals can let you down, especially if theres a ******* woman involved somewhere in the equation. I had a fishing trip cancelled recently thanks to the lure of the vagina.

Nah, some loved up pal. Makes me sick, ****** love hearts popping out of his eyes all the time. Its not like shes a stunner or anything. I suppose the little head rules the big head every time.

 

It left when politics turned into what they are now and everyone wants to watch tv shows that show this sort of thing to make viewers feel better about their crappy lives.

I thought I explained it well enough, I want to sell you the kit, I really do. Besides when I am sleeping, I am home an hour to two hours a day. Even then, I'm doing something. I was planning on taking the kit off the car, I really was. It was going to cut into my schedule but i was going to do it anyway. HOWEVER, someone I know, who is local, offered to buy the kit for MORE than I was going to sell it to you, (I told him it was sold and he offered more) and offered to REMOVE it from the car for me. Come on now. The price wasn't the big deal, it was the time that would of cost the most.

I apologized. I figured you'd understand lol. I guess its hard to put yourself in someone elses shoes.

 

Your apology is why I didn't put your name in the original post. I had no intention of trashing your name here. There is only one person other than me that knew this thread had anything to do with you and that's because he has been helping me with whole nitrous thing since I first inquired about your kit.

Now that you've made it obvious what the thread is about I will say my part. If you REALLY don't have the time to un-install the kit you should have just said so when I asked you if the kit was still for sale. I didn't pressure you to get me the kit in any sort of time frame, so that shouldn't have been an issue.

Steeda I don't hate you over the whole thing but I don't think what you did was right either. I am just disappointed at the whole damn thing. I have wanted a kit for quite a while and finally thought I had one. I even went and told my brother I bought a nitrous kit for the car. You want me to step into your shoes and see things from your perspective and I have. But now you do the same for me.

You told me the kit was still for sale.
I said I'd take it if shipping wasn't terrible.
You said shipping was $40
I said I'd take it
We agreed on a method of payment
You told me you would pull the kit over the weekend. Then Monday you tell me it's sold to someone else. WTF?

Again I will emphasize, I didn't bring you up in this thread. Trashing you was not the point of the thread, I just felt the need to vent.
