if it's just street racing, then no i won't. But if it's official, and a a strip(where ity's actually legal), I'll go. No way in hell I'd drive through a few states just to street race.

i understand the concept, but just because i dynoed at 107* ambient air temps doesnt mean i should "adjust" to 40* temps.

your car might be 'capable' of a 12 second pass, but you didnt get one.

You should try driving in thick *** air from Florida. In a perfect world on a perfect day with everything perfect you might be able to go that fast but tell me where and when you could find that cuz i would love to run my car there. Hell we could all be running 12's.

All i'm trying to say is i wouldn't go by your corrected time if you want a corrected time you should go to Cali like jjtgiants said everyone does the magazines test. Other wise you just look like a fool thinking that you can run high 12's. I have pretty much the same bolt ons minus the the DR's and the best i've run real world is 13.92 @ 99mph with a 2.1 60ft. So until you have a real time slip that has that on it i wouldn't be bragging to much. That's just a recommedation but feel free to be an idiot.

 

On a side note:

Your car is VERY clean looking Badfish, even if it is slow

 

liek i said in the drag racing thread...i really dont care about the corrected times, i just did that to give myself and others an idea if everybody was on an even playing feild

I'm gonna have to say your SAE corrected times are wrong Jon...I'd say at most your car is a low 13 sec car..but who knows...get a real time slip and i'll be a believer!..

It would be sweet, but that's quite a road trip for most of the members here on MT.....I was just stating that for racing Cali probably has some of the best conditions as far as being at sea level, no humidity and air temp!
