Default Painting

ok guys and girls heres the deal, i recently stumbled upon a 00 cobra R hood here close to me the guy wants $250 for it but is willing to negoiate. he bought it for his cobra since he cloned it to be a Cobra R so he decided to go with the actual Cobra R hood from ford racing. the hood he is selling is unpainted and was on his car for about a year. So im planning on going down there to look at it some time this week. if i do end up buying it i would have to get it painted. only issue is that i dont know any of the paint shops down where i am right now. I dont want to get ripped off or get a crappy paint job. so what or some signs or things i should look for or ask when i go check out the local painters in the area? and what or the good signs of good work.

keep in mind im curently in a small town.

best thing to do is go to the shop talk to them see some of there work in the shop and choose. I can say this "shop around" i got estimates of anywhere from 250-600bucks to paint the aftermarket hood i had on my f150. And the cheaper place did the best job actually. So you just need to go look around and talk to them when you have a free day thats what i did. I went to 3 different local body shops they showed me some work and gave me an est. Best way to do it if you have no proir knowledge of the shops.
