for sure. Honestly i like the v6 so i wont bullshit you unless you do nitrous or Forced induction of some kind it will never be that fast. I would save for a used blower, nitrous kit turbo whatever you like and go from there.

either a dyno tune which you would have to find a dyno tuning location in your area. Or you can get a handheld tune and have a tuner make you some custom tunes. Like the SCT XCal 2 from http://vmptuning.com Justin does a good job and is trustworthy.

With a tune means 91 octane...
I'd do gears and then power adder...

Not true

SCT and Diablo you can chose 87 91 or 93
and if you had one like me where its a 91 tune and you want a lower one you adjust the timing

extra HP just means extra gas burnt. higher octane means higher gas cost for really very little satisfaction when you're talking about having to use 91/93 just because of a soft tune. Your tune should be optimized to bring maximum power and reliability with the minimum octane required to keep detonation at bay. My tune lets me use 87 octane on my 4.6. My 5.4 will even be able to use 87 thanks to some pretty wicked cam timing but I'm fixin to tune it a little hotter than I run now so I'll probably jump to a 91 based tune when the 5.4 comes in (hopefully this month)

Add headers I got headmans for 199.00 at advanced auto and the have hekped with power and sound.... NGK Spark plugs would help a little but they are 7 bucks apiece for take off 3.73s would work 4.10 is a little much for a 6 unless its highly modded and only for the weekends. With what mine is modded with I can keep up with a GT that had a programmer X pipe with magna flows CAI with Trick Flow plenum and A helix...he pulled away then I caught back up when he hit 5th

All it needs is a turbo kit and some driveline mods......or just buy a GT, but even then you wont be satisfied....Because youll soon realize that it needs a turbo kit also......

I won't be spending that much time on you just yet... you have to learn some basic stuff or you'll make bad choices. Go to www.howstuffworks.org and look up engines, cams, mufflers, catalytic converters, transmissions and horsepower. Once you've read those you'll have a decent understanding of the fundamentals.

the balance of what you've been told is all pretty much entirely false. Whoever you're listening to is a retard and you should hit them in the e-head with a virtual tack hammer.

turbos are more efficient than blowers because of how they're powered. 6 cyl, 8 cly, 16 cyl... it doesn't matter. They all make more power under boost. I'd use a turbo because you have room and they make good solid power.

Blowers are cheaper and easier to install but don't return as much power as turbos (not enough to be concerned about). Either is going to be fairly expensive and you'll make more power than you really should put through your stock tranny or 7.5" rear end. Upgrades to both would be a good idea.

V6 bashing isnt allowed here keep it out of the thread.

But like they said a set of gears and a posi would make the car alot quicker and more fun. And it works well with a power adder to...

Guys I wasn't bashing anyone for having a V6. I have a V6 and love it but I'm tired of all the V6 guys asking how to make my car faster like a GT or how do I make my V6 sound like a GT. ALL V6 MUSTANG OWNERS NEED TO BE PROUD!! That's all I was getting at. Sorry if I pissed anyone off.
