Don't know the answer to your tire question...but

http://search.americanmuscle.com/?qu...=mustangtuning

They're all pretty much priced out the same. I'd go with the Eibach Pro Kit.

The widest tire for a 18x10 is a 315/30/18...but you can also go with a 295/35/18 which looks good as well. IMO dont get anything smaller than a 285 in the back because I dont like the way my 285's look and I cant wait to go with a set of 315/30/18 BFG Drags.

Do it quickly because 315's are becoming harder to get, since they are planning on expiring that tire size by most vendors since the tire size isnt used so much.

That is a lot of rim and rubber weight for a V-6. Car will look nice, but it will really slow it down.

wow! your right. The cheapest 315 that tirerack.com has is 171 BFG DR...and discount tire is 179 for the nitto DR. Looks like im changing the rims size im getting last minute to a 9" wide rim and stick with the 275

If you google around, you can find some. One place will sell you a pair for $230 but don't know how they handle freight. American muscle has them too, but they are all more expensive then what TR sold them for.

yeah im a bargain shopper. But 230 for a pair PLUS shipping is kinda high. I guess im just gonna stick with the 275's and get a DR in the rear. i wanted the 315 for those high rpm launches with the new stall converter and cam but guess thats out the window. Oh well ill save a buck or two on tires and rim size over the years.

Yeah problem alot of guys I know locally were having when going to a DD rim and they wanted that wide look from the rear, they had said that 315's are becoming harder to find and if you do find them and by the time you go to replace them they wont be available. So alot of guys seem to be dropping down to 305 or 275's.

all about cost & demand economics I guess, whats in demand the cost you will pay for it.
