The title says it all. I would like to mount the four lug 17 X 9 inch GT 500 rims on my car and was wondering why American Muscle says they are only for 87 to 93 Mustangs. I know that the 87 to 91 LX's came with the same 10 hole rims the 85/86 GT's did and I find this confusing. Is it the different rotors? Why would 10" rotors on an 85 have clearance issue when 11" rotors wouldn't? Can someone clarify this for me?

 

Okay, now you can't tell me that the site that sells the actual rims I am talking about has no one that can answer my question?

 

So in other words, I'm SOL.
