Default MGW shifter
I want an MGW short shifter for my 2005 GT. I went to order it from their website, but I'm not sure what transmission I have (3650 or T5/T45) and if i need the adjustable stop kit.

you definitely dont have a T-45 or T-5.

If it gave you the option to choose T45 or T3650 then you're trying to order the wrong shifter anyway (96-04). This is what you're looking for: 2005+ MGW Short Throw

yes the 2005+ have a totally different shifter setup. Its remote mounted like the GTO's are.

As you can see they are totally setup differently for the different body styles.
