Why would you want to do that? You know they don't add any performance.haha

But seriously, I've read about some people getting them and love it. I think it looks bad *** even if it doesn't add any power. I believe most people get the CDC one. I haven't heard of any problems.

I bet you might get a few ponies. Your car will look bad *** though. I've contemplated about getting one but I think I'm sold on the 00 Cobra R hood.

It's nice to have you over here birdman. I don't post much on the registry, but from reading many of your posts over there you sure know your stuff! Welcome.

Jack, just go buy a damn mach 1! I'll sell you mine....the days of mine are numbered.

Yeah, I still owe quite a bit myself and that's going to be the trouble of getting rid of it. Yeah, I was wearing a USC shirt....I saw your car in the parking lot, but couldn't put the face with the car once inside the gym. ha ha. Haven't seen your car there in a while...slacking off? ha ha

Yeah I though that was you. I saw your car in the lot as I was parking and then I saw someone inside with a red USC shirt on. Good thing you have that honeycomb panel in the back cause I've been seeing a lot of Machs in your same color. I've been slacking some, but also been out riding bikes with the lady.

Sorry to get off topic Jack.

I like the mach 1 hood too. Who cares if it adds hp. lol.. I remember I guess it was in 03 or 04 there were dealers in the St. Louis area that were selling the real Mach 1's but they were also selling a Mach 2. If I remember right they were basically a stock GT that was sent out somewhere to have a shaker hood and stripes put on. Does anybody else remember or have one of these cars? I remember seeing quite a few of these Mach 2 cars at Sunset Ford in South St Louis County.

Yep me too. I really cant decide on whether to get a 03-04 cobra hood or a 2000 Cobra r hood. Im not sure if a 03-04 cobra hood would even fit a 2000-2004 GT.
