Default Mustang tints gap

So I got 20% all around on sunday, it looks good except for the back window.

They left about a 7 inch gap because of the factory window fade on the top...

I called them up and they recommended I find a black vynil/decal to cover the gap up so it fades into black. Would any of you know where I could find exactly that?

Also the guy did a great job on all the windows except my driver side where theres some bubbles its starting to scare me and I'm really hoping the water will eventually evaporate. Any thoughts?

for the back window i believe you are talking about the "dot matrix." he most likely didnt tint over it because a lot of times it doesn't stick. When I had mine done, they tinted over it and it sticks, but it looks a little wierd.

The bubbles should come out, I had a few small one's as well and after a week or two they were gone.

You could see if a different place could do it for you. I was told that if it didn't stick, just bring the car back and they would press it again.

Already called them up they said they won't do it because it just won't work, and I remember in the past (when I was looking for a stang to buy) this guy had this taped up because it was peeling off. Decal seems like my best bet right now.. also the cheapest solution.

they are just a lazy shop, take it to one that knows what they are doing and they will take care of it for you.

My tint is the same way. That vinyl decal looks nice. May have to do something like that on mine later on.

I had my windows tinted a few years ago @ 15% all the way around. I made it 2 or 3 years before I got caught by the cops and had to take it off before court LOL. Anyway, when the guy tinted mine he did the WHOLE back glass in one piece. The first week or so I DID have probs with the tint sticking to that bubble crap up top. I took it back to the tint guy he said just keep pressing it back down and it will stick...so I did. I took a CD case (jewel I think they are called) and every couple days I would get back there and run the CD case across it and press it down. It ended up sticking and I never had a problem with it after. It looked REALLY good too. Im STILL mad cuz I had to take it off, but I will do it again before the summer is up.

Take it back and have them do it RIGHT.

It WILL stick, they have to lightly sand the dots down then hit it with a fabric softner.

I was a window tinter for about 6 years. I've done many cars this way, no problems.
