I'd take it off. You can't be too safe when it comes to dealing with ford. Those A-holes will try to void your warranty for anything they can. Besides if they hook it up to the computer I think they will be able to tell the computer has been messed with and will probably document it and if you have any problems with the car later on they will throw that back at you.

It takes 5 minutes to unload the tune and when you get the car back load it back on.

oh well I wouldn't worry about it then....I'm just very careful when dealing with Ford cause they've tried to screw me every which way.

If I have to take my car to a stealership I'll find an SVT dealership and they seem to be a little better about dealing with stangs.

Don't need to take it off but I'd check afterwards if they erased the tune for the stock one.

Dealerships erase tunes and reload the factory one, i no cuz i work for a dealership. My opinion, dont take it to a dealership, we just make up stupid crap to get more money. Take the tune off just to be safe. It only takes a minute or two to do and another to put it back.

this dealer ship hasnt been that bad. I know more than the service writer so i can call it on them but the last few times i have been there they just say your car is fine nothing wrong and im on my way.

Oh yeah another question with the diablo tune on it doesnt effect the check engine lite? meaning if a problem came up it would still work like normal w/o the tune right?

i believe so. when ya tune the vehicle it just resets the parameters that ford set, shouldn't block a trouble code.
