Other than already knowing that Iowa sucks from living here. I just did a search for drag strips around here. NOT HAPPENING!! Iowa has 4 drag strips in the entire state. Keep in mind I live about 10 minutes outside the capitol the closest drag strip is 2 hours away. Now back in Va if you live near the capitol you're set. Richmond International Speedway is about 20 minutes from the capitol. This is some crazy ****. No wonder alot of kids are getting pulled for drag racing on the streets.

Newton has an 1/8th mile at Iowa Speedway. Closest 1/4 strip to me is Cordova.

 

Iowa did give us Ashton Kutcher. Does that make them suck even more?

Don't forget about that one. As for Newton, a friend went there to see what it's about and from the sounds of it's nothing to brag about. It's also about 2 hours from me.
