yeah i know. very big thing to forget. and yeah she is a bitch...and she had the nerve to send me this when i got out on friday:

" hey john. just want you to know that what happened to you is really messed up!!! Of all the people at PCHS it shouldnt of been you. I have been talking with my mom and kinda mr. tanski to let you come to graduation with us... you spent 4 years with us and you deserve to be there too! I hope you got my text.. if there is anything you need please let me know! And what Cole said about you not being at school is true.. in ceramics there was noone to bring a lobster in! It was actually really sad! "

she tried being 1000% times nicer to me than she ever was. i hardly know this bitch. she sent me something like 20 texts similar to that one ^

I think you need to find a hole and hide in it for a while. All the **** that happens to you I'm amazed you aren't dead yet. Finish HS, start taking some college courses and just chill.

Stupid is as stupid does....I guess it depends on where you live, in the bronx or a po-dunk town. We use to bring guns to school all the time, granite it was when hunting season was in and we would just hand them over to our principle/vice principle/school guard! We have never had any problems, but then again it was a VERY small town where everyone knew everyone. It sucks that people have to pay for what others have done, but it is what it is! Hope the lesson was learned and not much comes of it!

Anyway.. Although I wouldn't be the one to rat you out, it was still your own dumbass fault.. You took a gun to school.

Say hello to summer school!
yes it was my own dumbass fault. im not mad at the situation. I, as you stated brought a mother ****ing Colt 1911 .45 caliber auto handgun, to school. though this couldve been avoided if some people would mind their own god damn business, especially when they know i was no threat. i have way to many friends at that school. but the situation also could've been avoided by me worrying about important ****, like a gun in my car.

and no summer school for me, i still get my diploma

and trust me a lesson was learned. i did have a real invincibility complex. i though i was the ****. i was untouchable. no one could **** with me. sitting in a concrete cell, with a steel door, and a steel bed for 8 hours a day changed that mindset QUICK. i'll never do anything to get arrested again. i still have handcuff marks around my wrists. **** that

If that chick is being all nice to you and trying to "help you" .....she feels guilty and is trying to make it right in her own mind. Given you shouldn't have brought the gun, but it sounds like she is the rat. With that said, I think this might actually help you out in the long run. Someone needed to show you that you're not invincible....lesson learned, take the punishment and move on. You'll be fine.

Why is the glove box the only place you are not allowed to store a gun? Thats dumb, there is no difference between there, in the console, under the seat, etc.

Heres a big lesson for ya...

Keep your mouth shut. Why did you tell your friends you had a gun in the car? Should have locked the box and zipped it...

Things like that you don't go around and advertise... Even to your friends no matter how much you trust them or how close they are...

Because NO good can come of it...

Damn me and jack let you have it too bro. Heres what I do if I know I'm not going to be at home but I'm going shooting the next day. I KEEP MY F*CKIN GUN AT HOME. Because heres **** that happens.

That happens to be the one time the cop searches your car.
A dumbass friend gets into your glove box and thinks the gun is unloaded or w ants to wave it around like an idiot...ect ect ect.

because 99% of people keep their insurance and registration in there. The last thing a cop needs to worry about someone reaching into their glove box and pulling out a gun. Thats why the glove box is a bad place.

Badfish it wasn't loaded I assume?

well by that question i'm going to assume it wasn't 100% safe. By unloaded i mean no rounds in the clip, clip out of the gun, empty chamber, slide locked back, and all the bullets in a seperate spot like your trunk, or a lock box. Otherwise you weren't legally transporting it and i'm not suprised the cops freaked out. But three days in jail seems ridiculous. I know you don't look like a criminal or anything, so that seems like overkill to me. However, in light of the recent Virginia Tech incident, I can't say that i'm suprised they reacted like that. It just sucks dude as we all know you wouldn't shoot up a school. But at least you will never transport a gun incorrectly again.

Afterthought: since you aren't 21 Who does the gun in question belong to?

That's ^^ right, you can't legally purchase a pistol until you are 21..so.
