Hey get this....I am considering getting the Cervinis Ram Air hood and a cobra front bumper so i called the only good paint shop here in town and after talking to them they told me they would charge me $1600! For those two pieces! That is ridiculous! Then get this....they suggested that i buy a steel hood! Does anyone even make steel hoods for an 01 mustang? Yeah right! While i'm at it why don't i just throw 100 more pounds on my already heavy stang! Steel Hood = STUPIDLY INSANE! He told me it was so expensive because the fiberglass hood would take two days to prep! What do you guys think bout all this?

 

The hood will come gel coated and ready to paint. A normal price for those two pieces are around $750

 

seems a little high.
I had to pay $600 to have my Speedster Hard Tonneau Cover painted.
It's made of urathane, still had to have a lot of prep work done.

 

i paid 1300-1400 for my hood and bumper to be painted. a lot of hours for prep (even with cervini peices). at least i have a lifetime warranty on the damn paint.

 

I work at a Body shop, and even on NEW bumpers and stuff it still takes a CRAP load of prep.
