Hey guys, my school has a CNC machine that students are allowed to use. All I have to give is a CAD drawing and the next day I'll have whatever was on the drawing. So if anyone has a CAD drawing, I might be able to make some. I just have to check w/ my school on how it works.

you guys are so panicy... I've got it handled.

They're lighter than the Reichard plates, flow better and will probably cost a good bit less.

I can't let too many details loose right now but I have assurance from my partner in this that we'll be able to do it no problem and on the quick.

The company I'm working with will also make them available with other options that will boost your 5.4's potential even further.

Please don't bug me too much about the details. Just trust that the ONLY reason I'm bothering is so you guys can have somewhere to get plates for your project.

long tubes will work but some modification is required. I would definitely get them if I could. they're worth a good bit of power over the shorties.

you can use a lightning lower and with some tig welding and a few other minor parts it'll work. Just use the plates. It's easier. By the time you're ready for your install we'll probably have them on the market.

then that's what i will do r3d...i'll sit and wait and see...hopefully like your saying that some plates will be availble in a couple of weeks (not months) LOL...what I will start doing is ordering the parts while i'm gone and have them sent to the house that way when I return I can start right away because all the parts will be at home...I'm just really wondering about this hood issue that people keep talking about...i do understand what people are saying about the adapter raising it up an inch or so...i just don't want to change my hood...i like the stock look...and the sleeper look as well...the other body mod..i want to do is take my 4.6GT symbol off the side and change the rear body thing that says mustang GT so people won't know what kind of mustang it is when they see it....i think that would help the look on their faces when the see it's not labeled and they can't tell what it is... ....thanks for taking the time to read this...

I like how you think, sleepers rock. I want to shave all the badges off my Cobra, let people wonder...

You can always just get the pony badges for the fender, as for the rear bumper, I assume it's 96-98 if it says "mustang gt", you could always go to the local junkyards and try to find a V6 that got its front smashed in, pull the bumper that just says "mustang". If you find one the same color, even better.

i see your point about the brakes and the noise...i can relate with that...and yes it is a 97gt...so low in power...215hp... ...but hey i'll never give up and i never quit...the main reason i win my races is i ride the shoulder...no matter what i don't stop till they do...unless of course the leave me...LOL...but yea that's all i want to do to the outside..i don't want a raised hood of any type just stock look will work for me...glad you like 97_cobra...thanks for taking the time to read this...

yea i have had my badges shaved since day one. back when it was stock, i mean the exaust that is. People thought i had a v6 with duel pipes b/c it was so quiet. Shoot, i might go and get the "mustang" back bumper and replace my cobra back bumper and then put the v6 badges back on and put the stock pipes and mufflers back on. man that would suprice someone who thought i had a v6 with duels lol. Would be supper sweet. I might go as far as put a sticker in the back glass that say's mean v6 lol or something similar...... >

i wouldnt' recommend putting something in your window cause then they have something to reconize you by...once you blow past them they can tell other people look out for this mustang that looks like a v6 w/duals and a sticker in the window that says *****....but that's my opinion...just keep it looking like the rest of the V6 around your neighborhood and etc...thanks for taking the time to read this...

yea i might dump the exaust after the mufflers and then some how mount the tail tail, v6 1/2 inch pipe turn down on the back, that would be so funny lol.

yea it would be...it's all about the element of surprise...cause first off they would never guess that we have a truck engine...then they think it's just a regular ol' V6...LOL..it's gonna be fun looking at the cameros, and etc...thanks for taking the time to read this...

there was a guy here that had a supercharged 01gt and he had a 8" piece of v6 single exhaust sitting under the bumper. so when u rolled up on him u thought it was a v6. then he would blow your doors off. didn't take long for ppl to look out for him after that.
