i'm having some issues with my 96. I cant get it to turn over. my problems started when i tried starting my car and i totaly lost power. I ended up cleaning off my bat. termanals and i got power back to my car but bat. didn't have the power to start. i swapped out the bat and now i just get this constant clicking noise but still wont turn over. I can get the car to jump start and it runs fine but once i turn it off i just will do the rappied clicking noise and not turn over. i need some help

 

sounds like it could be your alternator. mine did the same thing. i got it to turn over a few times before it would just click and then i got nothing. replaced the battery and it wouldnt start still, replaced the alternator, bingo!

give your alternator a few decent cracks with a hammer. dont go too crazy and break it. if it starts, its your alternator thats the culprit and youll need a new one.
