I think Foxes look like a blown out Escort, I dont think they even looked like a Mustangs!! Your thoughts?

I agree with the original post.....a stock fox can resemble an escort and I would never purchase one, in my opinion they were the ugliest mustangs made but thats jsut my personal opinion

but hey parts are cheap for them so its easy to make them fly

 

if you dont know mustangs you wont appreciate them, when people think of mustangs they think the early one as well as the new edge stangs and the new 05+. they just look so different from those that they can appreciate them

me i love fox mustangs, you just dont see enough nice ones on the road

 

at first i thought the were horrible..but after seeing some nice ones...i think thats what im going to get soon....then maybe drop a new engine in it,supercharge it...the works!

 

Any fox that can lift it's front wheels at the track has got my respect. I've always wanted to have one just to play with.

Yes, SN95's is my favorite!! Sorry about the fox thing I just think there ugly and totally unmustang....I did'nt even like them in high school and that was the Foxes hey day!! 86-90!!

 

Foxes are more "mustang" than the newer ones.

A mustang was originally a light cheap car that had some go. Now its an expensive bloated car that has some go.

Foxes look descent but I think the newer ones look better for sure.

 

Damn straight! The problem is there are so many decrepit beat up foxes on the road that they give those years a bad name. I can see how the LX foxes could be mistaken for an escort from afar in bad lighting, but there is no way a GT could with the factory bumpers and side skirts.

As far as ugliest Mustangs go, I think you are forgetting about a little car called the Mustang II...

 

ya the mustang 2 shouldnt even be considered a mustang it embarasses me lol



but as far as the fox goes.....yes, the gt looks a lot better than an escort but the lx is an escort with bigger motor


even if you say its "more mustang than the newer models" that doesnt change the fact that it has horrible body lines and is ugly as sin but i think all the cars from that time period were ugly 2 so i guess it was still better looking than most cars of that time period but still ugly

I use to hate Foxbodies also.. and then they grew on me. I think they look awesome now, especially as drag cars The only mustang I really don't like is the Mustang II.. that thing is pretty bad, lol.

 

I agree we csledd, I used to hate them but as I have seen more and more I like them, not so much the LXs but still. They can look real nice with a new coat of paint =D

 

stock GTs are decent, stock LXs need some work for them to look good

... I can't stand the M2's but that 3rd shot of the "king cobra" I kind of like. Similar to the way I like a early 70's Vega with a big block. It's got an ugly cool to it. There was a guy that had one new when I was growing up, it was flashy and cool for an 8 year old kid to look at.
